From brief to render: how AI video production works
A step-by-step look at how an AI video project runs — from the first call to the final files — and how to write a brief that gets great results.

AI video production is fast, but fast doesn’t mean random. The best results still come from a clear process: understand the goal, design the idea, produce, refine and deliver. Here is exactly how a project runs at SynimaPro, and what you can do to get the most out of any AI video studio.
Step 1: The discovery call
Every project starts with a short call. We want to understand four things:
The goal — sales, sign-ups, awareness, a launch, an investor pitch?
The audience — who needs to stop scrolling, and what do they care about?
The platform — Instagram, YouTube, a website hero, a trade-show screen?
The deadline and budget — so we can recommend the right scope.
Step 2: Concept and script
We come back with a creative direction before anything is produced: the story, the script or voice-over, the visual style and a few reference frames. This is where you shape the idea — it is much cheaper to change a sentence in a script than a finished scene.
What makes a strong concept?
One clear message, a hook in the first seconds, and a visual idea people will remember. If a video tries to say five things, it usually says nothing.
Step 3: AI production
This is where AI changes the economics of video. Instead of booking locations, crews and talent for every scene, we generate and composite scenes with AI tools, combine them with any real footage or product shots you provide, and keep everything consistent with your brand.
AI is especially powerful for scenes that would be expensive or impossible to film: future buildings, exotic locations, product macro shots, multiple languages and many variations of the same ad.
Step 4: Edit, sound and colour
Generated shots are only raw material. The edit gives a video its rhythm, music and sound design give it emotion, and colour grading makes every shot feel like part of the same film. You receive a first cut to react to, then we refine it with your feedback.
Step 5: Delivery in every format
Final files are exported for every place they will live: 9:16 for Reels and Shorts, 1:1 and 4:5 for feeds, 16:9 for YouTube and websites, plus cut-downs (6s, 15s, 30s) and caption versions.
How to write a great video brief
State the one action you want viewers to take.
Describe your audience in a sentence.
Share 2–3 videos you love (and one you don’t).
List the must-haves: logo, product, claims, legal lines.
Give a real deadline and where the video will run.
How long does an AI video project take?
Timelines depend on length and complexity, but AI production is typically much faster than a traditional shoot because there is no location, crew or talent scheduling. Short social ads can often be turned around in days rather than weeks.
